I listed something for sale on Craigslist. How do I tell how many times my ad has been viewed?

If it is priced right, its pretty effective. I typically start getting responses beginning the next day....do not expect instant responses...its not Facebook, where people are checking it many times a day.
Sold a tractor a while back and had four serious buyers respond in 24 hours. Tractor was gone the next day.
I've found Facebook Marketplace more effective for lower value items and where women as the intended purchasers.
I do not remember seeing views. Make sure your spam filter is not blocking the response emails from Craingslist

I do not remember seeing anything on views. Make sure the CraigsList emails are not ending up in your spam filter.

Pretty sure you can't see views, but I'd give it 24 hours before expecting call backs. Also as others have said if it's priced right you will be contacted.

There is no standard way to see page views for a Craigslist listing. You probably already know this, but Craigslist is not nearly as effective as Facebook Marketplace. I have used both simultaneously on the same items and the buyer always comes from FB.
Craigslist does almost nothing to stop scammers, too. It's a dying site that refused to evolve with the times.

Just be careful to weed out all the Craigslist scammers once you do get a response. And don't let them pay you in Venmo. Lot's of Venmo based scams going on in both Craigslist and FB right now.

I have pretty much quit using Craigslist due to spam and scammers. I used to do a lot of sales and trading on CL a few years back, but just got tired of all the scammers and no-shows. There isn't a way to see how many views your item(s) have had on CL that I'm aware of either.
what are you selling? might list it in the "for sale" portion here on the THF

I have not used CL in several years but when I posted a vehicle and boat on there I received Emails and or calls almost immediately. Usually low ball offers. My response was the price is in the ad. Also some real stupid ?s to which I responded "did you read the ad?"

FB Marketplace is a better resource these days.

Also some real stupid ?s to which I responded "did you read the ad?" totally agree ... I put a disclaimer on all my CL ads regarding do not ask questions that I have already answered in the above ad, you will be ignored, the price if firm.

I've sold a ton of stuff over the years on craigslist but don't much anymore due to the shear numbers of scamming pieces of chit out there now. The last add I put up about a year ago had 3 scammers contact me within the first 3 hours. They are pretty easy to spot and once I do I'm relentless on them!!!
FB marketplace to me is a better option nowadays

From all this I gather there is no way to tell how many times your ad has been viewed.

Sold lots of stuff on CL with no issues. Biggest items were a tractor chevy tahoe, and a boat, all sold within an hour.
I always say NO SCAMMERS, NOT ANSWERING ANYONE REQUESTING AN EMAIL FROM ME OR REQUESTING A CODE! Face to face, cash only and yes I'm packing at the meet up. It's pretty EZ to sort through the tire kickers and BS.

I'm not on Facebook and still use craigslist. It's very effective. Pretty easy to screen the idiots and scammers. Just don't put your phone number there and make sure they can write a complete sentence and have the right motives.
Never thought about number of hits or views on a Craigslist ad. It's kind of like an old school online newspaper which I like.

Used it alot for mostly auto Differential, axles, posi units etc. Sold a set of 28x9 goodyear drag slicks once and the only issue was one idiot thought it was a set of four. Never had a spam issue, could be because i wasnt selling cars and such
