It was made in 2018, what generation does that make it? What’s the difference in the generations?

It was made in 2018, what generation does that make it? What’s the difference in the generations?
Thanks Gen 1 has a plastic bolt shroud, keymod handguard with rail all the way to front Gen 2 has aluminum bolt shroud, keymod handguard with no top rail Gen 3 has mlok handguard, ambi safety, black nitride coated bolt
