catch em coming in to feed in the morning, it's my favorite time to hunt anything, but I like to watch the sun come up.

My kids school is only 10 minutes from my house. After I drop them off I grab my camo shirt, my 870 and my stool and head out the back door. I'm usually hunting by 8:15. I miss a couple of hours but it is better than nothing.

I like the morning. Peaceful and COOLER.

I have never really done very good on the morning hunts. I just love to get out and hunt, so I do it every opportunity that I get; that includes morning dove hunts.

I seem to do better on morning hunts. Maybe it's because I feel more ready and pumped. During the evenings I tend to be more eager to put the guns away and drink a few beers.

Si, yo trabajo mucho en la casa.

I'm a Mr. Mom/stay-at-home-dad. Wife works and I do laundry, take care of the kids and do the errands and cooking. Works for us, and allows me to hunt in the morning. smile

Growing up we never hunted the mornings because it was illegal. I think sometime in the 90s they started allowing AM hunts.

I enjoy the evening better; if the doves aren't flying, you can at least kick back a few beers and enjoy the sunset. I guess I'll have to settle for bloody mary's!!

I've done both. Set up the same places we do in the evening.

I have hunted the morning and evening around San Antonio.
Both have been great at times. My dad has a place 10 miles from the house that opens tomorrow but I cannot go.

I will be headed to Alice, Bishop and Falfurrias tomorrow for work.

I will probably wait till the South zone opens and go to the deer lease.

I could also go to the Junction lease but I have to work.

Good luck to you guys and gals tomorrow, throw some lead.

sorry if I offended you, what I meant to say was

I like to consume excessive amounts of adult beverages until the point I have no problem falling asleep only waking up the next morning.

Shoot man, I always like the mornings better. It's a lot cooler, and the birds seem to be flying as good in the mornings as they do in the afternoon. Sure was nice out there this mornin', wasn't it?

I love the morning hunt like Tony said it much coooler and more enjoyable watching the sun come up. It seems like the birds really hit the sunflowers or milo in the mornings too. Not much good hunting a tank in the mornings though. IMO.
