Because they’re handy. I work out of my truck every day and I think the steps are the tits.

I get what you’re saying. They just look plasticy and mess with the lines of the clean truck.
On my F150 the drop down running board goes back farther and it works as the side step when I need it, but then tucks back out of the way when I don’t.

Did you go for the high output diesel or standard version?

Agree, so only drive it at night or when it is dark outside nidea

Azure Gray looks more like a light Blue color than some shade of Gray to me. Like the F250 Superduty's but with BIL, that particular looking one does not make me want to trade my F150 in.

Did not. I have no use for that much power. I tow my RV, but it's mainly due to all of the miles that I drive yearly and resale for me.

I see a longer F-150, looks like the factory lift on those has been taken down some from prior. F-150 was the highest selling vehicle 2022 in US again so guess that's why...Silverado was 2nd and RAM 3rd...

I am 5' 10" and a 2500's bed rail comes up to my chin. If I bought one (I never will), I would like to have the steps.

Did you get scheduled yet? I just got the 45-day email about supply constraints. BTW, mine is a F350 CCLB SRW Lariat Ulitimate in Iconic Silver.

I ordered a F150 back in November, the salesman said 5 to 6 months, it's currently waiting to be delivered to the dealership early next month. But I didn't have any wild add ons and such. I actually got the 45 day delayed production do to supply chain issues, a week later I got the email the truck was built ready to be delivered.

If I end up getting one it'll have to be a cab and chassis. Throw the entire bed away.

Won't start building (job 2) King Ranch, Platnium and Limited till med February is my guess, then deliver all of the orders 4-5 months later. I was one of the first to order, so I will see.

Can you expand on this a bit for us. Is there a lot of difference between the 2022 & 2023 Superduty trucks?
Also, did you order it in a gas or diesel?
I know that diesel is a damn BEAST. My cousin loves his new one

I was told not to order an F250 or F350 w/o the bed or a fleet ruck due to factory programming for lower performance. Something about keeping drivers from dogging the trucks.

I don't recall Ford's numbers for this specific new model year, but C&C trucks tend to be derated for durability and economy. Nothing new in the heavy duty pickup world. All brands do it, IIRC.

I was told that bulids for King Ranch, Platnium and Limited would start in April... But that is for a 450... My 2022 was ordered in Feb and I got it Dec 31st.... I hope the 23 comes in faster...

Off the top of my head: 2022 does NOT offer any of these features below.

Driver assist, you can take hands off steering wheel and the truck will stay in your lane with Driver monitoring system (make sure you are paying attention while hands free)
Truck will back up to hitch type trailer automatically and place your truck under ball, no need to keep getting out or looking at camera in truck.
18 speaker system
Heads up display on windshield
When tailgate is down there is a camera on top of tailgate so you can still see.
Full laying down seats
Active payload indicator built in tail lights when loading.
Automatic load leveling front headlights.
Of Course Azure Grey color on premium trims.
Camera system now with 28 views.
Front parking sensors.
Built in 2KW generator, plug in pick up bed.
On board 5G
Automatic cruise control, NOW with stop and go assist. Truck can come to a complete stop in traffic and and maintain auto cruise.
Navigation will guide you through the best route for your trailer height.

Just to name a few.
