Anyone know anything about modern Nerf guns?

My son is really getting into them and asking for them. We’ve bought him a couple small ones but there are bigger ones that he wants. They have rifles, shotguns, PCCs, bolt actions, pistols. Started looking at them and Im as confused as a new gun owner. It seems like there are different dart types, single action only, semi-auto, full auto/motorized. Can real accessories be mounted like if I wanted to get him a cheap red dot or laser? I already floated the idea of a gun wall with pegboard in his room.

Sounds like fun times! I’ve seen them at the store, but don’t know much about them. YouTube would probably have some good information. These were my all time favorite as a kid… I remember rushing around cleaning up all these little disks before dad got home grin

You can get a accessories like you mentioned... They're not very accurate AFAIK.
Me and my brothers were big into nerf guns. The house became a warzone 1 night a week with skirmishes throughout the week. roflmao
The . motorized rapid fire is a cool one. If they still make it.
I don't know the names of any newer ones, but the strongarm and maverick are good ones,
PDKfilms on YouTube has some good videos. Nerf Socom as well.

My kids are big into Nerf guns and have all kinds of them, yes the motorized auto gun is pretty fun. It's been a while, but we use to have Nerf gun wars all the time here.

The latest thing is called "Orbeez", so I got an Orbeez gun and a bunch of ammo for my boy.....then I got shot right in the testiculars at close range and lemme tell ya, I felt that. About took that gift back.

Some of these new Nerf guns (especially the bigger ones) are pretty dang powerful. Head/face shots are a no-no.

My kids were big into Nerf guns. Out of all the Nerfs they had, the Magstrike was my favorite.
They are air compressed with a10 round clip. You will empty the clip in just a couple of seconds up

My son has probably 25-30 of them, and he doesn't play with them much any more. If you are really interested in buying several I'll cut you a deal on a bunch of them.

A nerf shotgun? That sounds like a bad idea, regular nerf guns make enough of a mess.

My son has a bunch, and he bought one with a scope the other day. We usually have a nerf fight once a week. Our cleaners find bullets in random places all the time.

I had a pallet of these sold them for 25 dollars. I would look for used nerf guns you can get them for pennies on the dollar. I have a free used one if anyone local wants it. My grandkids are into orbeez now. Just don’t get shot in the eye don’t ask how I know. bang
