I was selected for the Nilgai/exotic hunt for Feb 2nd - 5th, any helpful hints for hunting this unit? I will be there early to use my scouting days, and have been reading everything I can find to try and have a successful hunt. Will be shooting with a .300 Weatherby magnum 180 gr either in a Hornandy Inter bond, or a Remington core lokt whichever performs better at the range this weekend. Any tips or tricks for hunting this unit, or Nilgai are appreciated. And good luck to everyone else that was drawn, hope to see you there!

I haven't hunted down there before, but the most used piece of equipment that seems to help is a tripod so you can get high enough to see anything in the tall grass.

Shoot them more forward than a deer and use a tripod. People with the best success sit and wait, it is not a spot and stalk game.
