Anyone have any recommendations in Young county for some dirt work? Just need a pad built up to put a 40ft container on.
If you're coming for mine, you better have yours!

A concrete pad will keep snakes from getting under it. Worth the extra $ IMO.

Try Adam at Kramer Construction (940) 549-2414 They have done a lot of dirt work at our ranch.

I had mine put on a load of driveway gravel, I haven’t had any issues with snakes around the container but I’ve killed 4 DB’s on my cement porch next to the house. I throw a few bars of rat poison under the container through the tie down slots on all 4 sides of the container every couple of months to keep the rodents away.

One belly dump load of crushed concrete makes an excellent base for a 40' container. I made this pad for mine with a single load of crushed concrete. Leveled it out, watered it, and rolled it with a vibratory compactor.

Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

It took a ton of measuring to get it right but I set mine on 8 cast in place piers and then tied it down with 4 wide metal straps. It is about 20" off of the ground and the driver dropped it directly onto the piers when he delivered it.
