Couple of guys to look for next season and beyond...

These guys have been bowing up to each other almost every day over the last two weeks in my feed pen. Seeing lots of small bucks. A couple tall narrow crab claws. Few to none would be AR legal. And as usual does are scarce. Have not had any hogs last couple days at least. May do some crane hunting. Fishing too after a couple days into the warm weather.

Sniper, you've got hardwoods, did they drop many acorns? We have very few hardwoods around us, mostly mesquites..

We had a decent acorn crop this season, but I hunt in a creek bottom. I don't think we had any pecans this season. Lots of pecan trees here too. I'm in my best stand this evening. First hunt from it this trip. I saw nothing today.

I saw more daytime activity in early Nov.-early Dec. as is pretty typical for me in Young county. The deer seem to go fairly nocturnal and/or being harvested...

I have been seeing them out during the day at the other stand I was hunting since Thursday. So I was expecting the same at the one that has had no hunting pressure. Camera had lots of day pictures too, so something changed today.
