Maybe if we all show up at the Parks and Wildlife office with our unused tags and have puppy dog eyes, and beg real nice, and tell them about the acorns, then they’ll feel sorry for us and give us an extra three weeks of hunting season, just this once as a favor. Hey, it might work. The trick is to look pitiful, which will be easy for me right now.

If you know that deer are eating acorns, and you know acorns fall from oak trees, then what is so difficult about the whole scenario?
