Hi - Sent you a PM. I've got a Marlin 1895GS (all stainless) 45-70 "JM" stamped with the really nice wood and a Lever Rail with Ghost Ring sights already installed. With this rail system, you can run whatever optic you want....or use the open ghost ring sights! Also has an upgraded recoil tamer butt pad installed which makes shooting the 405 grain stuff much nicer  Sounds like exactly what you are looking for (except this does have a cross-bolt safety....not sure any Stainless guns were made prior to 1984 when the safety came into being for Marlin - but it is a JM Stamped Marlin).
