I knocked down a doe yesterday. I was hoping for a buck today, but fog, a stomach virus, low on Ice even if I did bag one, and the wife waiting at home I packed it in early. I'll try again when it's cooler because yesterday I was burning up in the Box...

Been good movement the past 2 days super foggy this morning seeing 6-8 deer a sit in bow range several more cruising still, did draw back yesterday morning

One doe, a 5.5yr old buck we are passing on this year, two groups of pigs, and two coyotes

Nothing coming to feeders. Never seen it this green here in December.

Me and the grandson is hunting Leon County this afternoon and in the morning, the whole place is a big wild ryegrass patch, my oldest son is is Coleman County with a couple other grandsons deer are hitting the feeders out there especially protein.
Good or bad it’s nice just being out.

This guy shows up on cam 25 minutes after legal shooting hours... nobody has seen him before. Guess I will be hunting him the rest of the season and also muzzleloader season. These are the only pics I have.....

7 doe tonight and two bucks here in Throckmorton county. Both bucks nose down on the move. Seems secondary is on here. Not one deer interested in corn. Pasture is leafy green and lots of wheat around. Another pig down number 7 for the year. Looking forward to next few days.

Wife and I are going tomorrow. Her first time out this year due to medical and family issues. We're both pumped. Feels like opening day!

Seen 11 does last evening, in the grain field. Calves chased 3 of them out. Nothing so far this morning.

Interesting. I rarely see much activity from a second rut.

The rut is in full swing in Southern Live Oak County. I was too busy playing host to ever get in a stand over the weekend, but I probably saw 30+ bucks just riding around, including a newcomer that has me a little excited. Sunday morning while all my guests were sleeping in, I watched a shooter class buck chase a doe right into camp. Next week i’ve got 5 days of hunting planned with a group of friends that are pretty hardcore. That’s a good thing because we have a lot of work to do. There will be blood…
