Nice buck! How wide was he, 17”? I didn’t have a tape on me but I’d guess about 18”. Once I get the euro back I’ll measure it.

Way to go young man. Congrats I’ve always wanted to kill a big 6 myself but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to let Jaxton take this one. It’s been a long and tough season. He has gone on probably 30 sits and not had a mature buck to shoot at until this one.

He is growing like a weed and continues to impress me in most aspects. Polite, good grades, well disciplined, and works hard. Couldn’t be prouder of the young man he is becoming. I just hope he continues to want to spend time with me in the woods as he gets older especially the teenage years. He is a great hunting partner.
