I'm thinking of picking one of these up and was wondering if anyone has experience with one. I looked at the Ruger Ranch Rifle in the same caliber also, but it seems like quite a few people have had issues with magazine/feeding.

I believe it’s in the Begara family

Elkivory, I don't know about the 300BO per se, but for what i t's worth I have both of the mentioned rifles in a different hunting caliber than the 300BO. As far as the rifle as a whole is concerned, I can tell you that the CVA is, by far, my preference. The action is much smoother (MUCH), and the barrel is without a doubt free-floated. The magazine is flawless up to this point and flush-fitting. While not a metal magazine, and with a smaller capacity of only 4 cartridges, I prefer flush. I used the Ruger and it's a solid rifle. Accurate etc...but the feel, fit and finish of the CVA is just better, IMO.

Thank-you Sir. They seem just a better quality rifle. Midway is supposed to be getting some in anytime now and I'm going to give one a try.
