My boy is very hesitant to jump in and try new things, he takes after his momma. My baby girl is 100% me. Gutting a deer and she just starts reaching in to grab a handful and says daddy what do I need to take out lol. I fear I’m going to regret the similarities at some point but I’m ready to kill some critters with them. My brothers boys started hunting not long ago and it’s been a lot of fun to see them get excited about it and relive some old memories and see some new ones made.

Same here Red. My little girl has never been afraid of blood & guts, but up until this year my boy has been a little sissy about it. I had enough of that this year and told him from now on, you're not shooting another deer unless you clean it - period. So you either leave your gun at camp, or man up and clean your kill.....you're 11 yrs old, I'll help you but I'm not doing it for you anymore. Well, last weekend he made me proud and got it done.
