#1 Franklin (14-0) will play Edna (13-1) tonight at 7pm in Katy. Winner of this game will punch their ticket to AT&T stadium for a date with destiny next Thursday for the 3A Division I state title. Don’t know anything about Edna other than they have some big ole boys on both sides of the ball. For Edna to win this game, they will have to shut our running game down. Columbus has been the only one that came close. They will also have to play for 48 minutes. Our Lions will fight to the bitter end!!

#1 Franklin punched their ticket to AT&T stadium with a 41-13 win over Edna. The Cowboys started off great. Scored first and shut our run game down. So we went to the air and threw 3 touchdown passes before halftime. We started the second half and finally cranked up the running game. Defense came up and played lights out in that second half. This will be our 3rd straight year at Jerry’s World.

Drove to Mineral Wells last night and watched Hawley (14-0) beat Crawford (14-0). It was a good game, Hawley has a really talented RB and all around football team. Now Hawley will play Refugio next week for the State title.

I was at a party in a private suite at Cowboys last night. Watched Brock and Malakoff. Never watched 3A HS football but it was pretty entertaining.

Watched Argyle and SOC last night in the "FOG" Bowl. Couldn't see what was going on.

Prosper vs Duncanville today on TV. Should be a great game. 4:00pm at Ford Stadium (SMU). Unfortunately, it will be a rainy game.

Prosper got beat bad by Ducanville 41-0. Didn’t see that coming

Reggie's gottem playing great, I think they beat SOC for State

SOC 5A DII, Duncanville, 6A D1 to play Galena Park Northshore whom beat Austin Westlake. Will be 3rd or 4th time Duncanville has opposed Northshore in state 6A final, losing each time in last 4-5 years. Duncanville did spank SOC early this year in a non-district game, btw.

Lot more speed and D1 talent in those Duncanville and Desoto, Galena Park Northshore teams and they are coached with discipline to boot. Very different than those Freddie James coached Dallas Carter teams of late 80s that lacked bare discipline and were all athletic talent.

We know the volleyball coach at GR and she has 2 sons that play on the team so we watched that game on NFHS...then we flipped channels and watched Canadian lose in the final minute to Gunter... BOTH were heartbreaking losses, but were really good games to watch

Buzz, SOC plays Port Neches Grove whom beat Liberty Hill last night in the state 5A DII final.
