DQ, it seems to me that the sound of a 3006 going off does not sit well with mature bucks so try to keep it quiet.

10 deer this morning and 4 pigs. 4 bucks, 2 we're mature, nothing new. Seems with this moon phase, afternoon hunts are a little better than morning hunts.

Had one doe that cursed through at 7 and then a buck came from the other direction with his nose to the ground at a full trot. A little windy this morning in Ballinger.

So far this morning I've seen 10 bucks and 1 doe.
No size to the bucks, but they are moving good

No doe here, going to give it till about 10. Camera shows one coming in some days around then for a drink. We shall see.

I have 2 grandsons in Leon county hunting this evening.
From the porch of the camp house we could see two bucks running a doe.
A 4 pt and a young 8 pt.
We’re in the stand now, one of the grandsons is old enough to hunt by his self.
That’s the first running we seen since youth weekend.
