I was at my property Tuesday shooting steel and cutting boards with my Alaskan chainsaw mill. Decided to take a break at 2:30 to eat a late lunch in my newly built box blind. I looked up and see three hogs at my feeder that’s 225 yards away. I shot the larger one in the head and it dropped and never moved. The other two ran off. I finished my lunch and look up and the other two were back. Shot the second one in the head with the same results. Waited 15 minutes to see it the third one would come back out. But didn’t

Got my UTV and sled hooked up and got them to put the meat in the cooler.

That's the way to enjoy yourself at the property. Nothing like having a snack and hunting at the same time.
Enjoy yourself.

That's the kind of 'working lunch' we should all have!

I have two unwritten rules:
1.
2.

Sweet! Did you have them for Thanksgiving dinner?

P.S. Why is your feeder 225 yards away?

Had one as a side dish today. And I the feeder is there because I can still head shoot them out to 400 yards.
So 225 is an easy shot for me.
