I've been a good boy this year and Santa is bringing me a table saw (my first). What is the ideal height for the top of the table? (btw, I stand 70" tall).

This is the one I wrote Santa about: DeWalt Table Saw

How Tall Should a Table Saw Stand Be?

Couple of videos offering suggestions.

I would say whatever works best for you from an ergonomic stand point.

I like mine to be the right Height where I don't have to crouch over to line up on my cut line. I have the same saw that you are getting and it seems to be an inch or two low to me using the factory stand

The best height for me is far enough over my head I can't reach it without standing on a jumbo box of tourniquets...congrats in advance and here's to countless awesome projects with it!

37 inches is how high the top of my table saw table is from the floor. Never had a problem with it being too high or too low. Like the famous porridge, it’s juuuust right.

I was thinking of rigging up a harness made of pipe cleaners and latex condoms and hanging from the ceiling by it...but thanks for the suggestion! Happy Easter!

I'm right at 6' tall and my saw sits at 36". That's the perfect height for any pieces that are kicked back to nail you in your manhood. Stand to the side when you feed your saw.
