Any one have any experience with these all-coppers yet? I'm looking at the 100gr factory 6.8 load and wondering how it might perform on hogs/deer out to 200 yds.

It performs well like any other solid copper bullet does. The advantage of the CX bullets over the Barnes, it they use a different copper blend that doesn't copper foul the barrels as bad, like the Barnes do. I just don't think the CX bullets have gained traction yet, but I like them.

I've been eyeing them as well, but I can't justify them over the Hammer Hunters I've been trying lately. The only advantage (to me) is that there is load data available for the CX and you have to develop your own with the Hammer Hunters.

The hammers are really expensive…that’s a justifiable reason to go with hornady too…

Hammers are a great HUNTING bullet, so, other than load development. you won't shoot enough of them to be "expensive"
