A suppressor if the ATF would get off its a$$ and get my tax stamp before the season is over. Being on MLD land, I have until the end of February so it might actually happen.

New box of Hornady SST Superperformance, 7MM-08M, 139 gr. and maybe some Tinks spray I picked up for $3.99 a can on clearance recently at Academy, regular $11.99. Also, some electric handwarmers I picked up online recently. You'll like em'. Great killing bullet.

well, not really first time but first time in over 40 years....ran across my old Buck 105 and my late wife's Buck 119 knives with sheaves. Cleaned up and put new edges on them and dyed the sheaths. They look great!

Since my lease is for sale we took all of our blinds off the property. Then the land owner said we can hunt till it sells. So I'm bringing my pop up blind that I've only used once. Placing it on top of my old deer stand base that I was giving to the new owners. Fits perfectly and gives me a 5'elevation.

Gonna use my 6.5 PRC. Bought it as a backcountry mule deer gun, but figure until I draw on one of those I'll give it a go in WT season!

That would be great! However, karma may have happened before we knew it was going up for sale last December (in the same spot)! 168"

Karma has a way of making such things happen. You really should rework those medieval death spears (t posts). Drive them hugging the angle of the legs and wire them tight to the 4" x 4" posts. Slip and fall coming out of that thing, hit one of those and you'll be there a while.

A game hoist made for a full sized truck, modified to fit my Polaris Ranger. Extended and reinforced receiver piece, shortened mast. I put one on my Honda Big Red this year, sure has been a back saver.

It appears I'll get my first chance this weekend to try out some gloves and thermals I picked up back in September while on a trip to Montana. I've already been very pleased with a mid-weight jacket I picked up on sale at Bob Ward's in Bozeman. It's far easier to find and try on gear to beat back the cold in that region of the country.

Used two things myself for first time with mixed results. Tried the Lil Mr. Heater last night in my trailer and could never get the pilot lit for long enough to ignite, made for a cold, cold night and a return to Academy tonight. Trying the tiltable, Heat Hog, Little Buddy Heater competitor, 9000 BTU. Verdict is out for now. Other thing was Boneview battery HotPack handwarmers. Put two in the hand pouch and didn't have to wear gloves. Dudes put out heat and last 4-5 hours ea. Excellent buy, $50 online ++ for both.

Did you hold the Start button completely down long enough to keep the pilot light lit until the sensor gets hot? It can take 30 seconds or more before this happens so that the pilot stays on. So long as you keep holding the start button down, the pilot will continue to burn indefinitely, but will stay on after releasing the button once they sensor heats up. Also, it helps to press the button for a second or two to start releasing gas to the pilot before pressing it down completely to engage the starter/spark. I think it's common for people to release the Start button as soon as they see the pilot light ignite before the sensor has a chance to heat up. Don't ask me how I know.

Held it down for awhile but probably not as long as I should have in hindsight; also had the trailer pretty ventilated with several windows cracked open some, maybe the wind was working against me - have read online that small breezes can play havoc with those. Regardless, I need a bigger unit for that trailer so the Heat Hog should work better and being able to tilt the angle of heating seems pretty cool. Those Boneview electric handwarmers were the bomb!

New lease, New feeder, New Game Winner tripod, new (to me) 1968 Browning BAR Grade II 270 Winchester. Worked well. Killed a nice fat red river doe.
