I recently bought a Remington 1100 G3 and it came with 5 chokes.

Which one would be best for Dove. I'm shooting 7 1/2's.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Back about 7 years ago I bought an aftermarket briley choke tube in Light Modified and IMO it is about the best choke for just about everything that I hunt. That perfect mix b/t IMP and Mod.

I agree I like my Lite mod in the top barrel and Imp in the bottom.

Nice, I've been wanting to look at one of those. I suggest IC for doves.

For opening week use IC (10)

2nd or third week of the season once the Doves get wise to all the shooting and hunters in the field then put in you LM (15)

Man there have been like 79086 posts on this same subject the last few weeks.

Pattern the loads you are going to use with a few of those chokes to get the one you like best. I pretty much know for my SBEII Mod or IM is the way to go for my dove loads...but each gun and choke is different.

I use IC but I also have a decent ability to judge what is too far. When I go I'm usually in a group of 10 to 15 guys and I get to see them blast away. I'm also the worst shooter so if they didn't hit, I'm glad I didn't shoot. Throw a soda can out about 30 to 35 yds. and see what it looks like, or shoot it and see what happens. Shoot a round of skeet this weekend, or... start with IC and experiment your way to Modified and see what works best for you.
