At least it appears so for East Texas. Forecast shows rain moving in on Friday with a 70% chance on Saturday and 30% chance on Sunday.

I am seeing around a 50% chance for Lamar county. Hopefully it is just light showers. Deer don't mind that.

Never had any problems with rain myself. I've killed several with it pouring. Not thunderstorming and lightning though. Killed my "biggest " buck in a downpour
Unless it's thundering and lightning everywhere, I'd be there for the hunt

While a light rain will make deer move, the challenge is not falling asleep to the sound of it hitting the roof of your ground blind or box stand.

We need the rain. And since it’s gonna be a full moon will gladly take a little rain with the cloud cover they provide

Had pretty significant rain this past weekend, deer were moving in it regardless but the tiny gaps in the rain is when you really want to be in your stand. We had a 30min gap around 11am Friday and every feeder had mature deer at it.

I dont mind the rain, as long as it doesnt block our sattelite signal for the football games between hunts.
You have to remember, they might not be drinking as much as we are.

While a light rain will make deer move, the challenge is not falling asleep to the sound of it hitting the roof of your ground blind or box stand. I have lost that challenge many times with my tin roof stand.
