Scope is on the way. She will use this 6.8 until she grows up and I can put her into a proper wooden stock deer rifle. She is super pumped about taking her first deer, maybe I am too.

This little girl loves to hunt, loves to help me clean animals (loves guts), and has impressed me with her shooting. Life is good.



Can't wait to make some memories this year. This little girl will push boys out of the way to gut a deer, been that way since she was 5 yrs old. Always stayed up late with me when I hauled guts and washed up. All the boys quit and went to bed, but she didn't. She is 8 now and on a mission, shooting a deer is all she talks about. Her favorite meal is fried backstrap (no gravy). She is a sweetheart, but will smack a boy in the head with a shovel if he's picking on her (ask me how I know).

Sure is fun watching them grow up. Wants to either go hunting, or fishing every weekend.

She really does hate soccer.

I understand her hatred of soccer but looking back I wish I’d put more time into team sports so one day she’ll probably thank you for it. Otherwise spend as much time as you can with her because one day you’ll wake up and she’ll be 20 and all grown up and in a blink of an eye she’ll be 30 and your an old man with graying hair and stained undergarments slobbering on yourself and 2 more blinks your needing a caretaker and crapping in your diaper

My daughter was more willing to clean animals and get her hands dirty than either of her older brothers. She came home from Jr. High school one day and said, "Dad, I got to touch sheep brains!"

Good for both of you. My daughter #3 was like her. She made a ton of money guiding hunters, and gutting and skinning their deer. The tips were outrageous.
