Hunted North of Uvalde - Limited out both days in the morning - primarily mourning doves - got 2 Whitewing on first day and 3 on second day
Birds were flying to a sunflower field - we intercepted them before they got to the field
Great start to the season

Hunted outside Cibolo this morning. All the right conditions but few birds.

Those Ranger Creek boys will put you on 'em.

Hunted in Baylor Co and Knox Co Thu to Sat. From the outfitters I know around there, the game wardens are saying it's real spotty. They aren't spread out, it's either feast or famine.

Hunted several of the fields since 9/1 in Collin and Hunt Counties. Opening day there was plenty of dove and pigeons, but that has fallen off dramatically. This morning was a perfect example of that. Sat in #2268 and never even lifted my gun. Heard, maybe 2-3 people shoot. I wasn't even hearing gun fire from fields close to this one like I normally do. Not sure what grounded them this morning, but it was dead.

All the birds must have gone your way.

I too live just south of Waco (near Robinson), and am used to being able to limit or on the opening day.

When it hasn't been raining we've seen very very very little amounts of flight.

Yesterday afternoon we saw 3 birds only at evening hunt.

The days that looked promising ended up storming right as the birds traditionally would start flying!

It's a real shame too, as I finally got some .410 reloaded for my 8 year old boy (we were given the family .410 earlier this year). He's not had but 4 shootable birds since opener.

Next weekend I'll have to bring the skeet thrower out so that we can actually have something to shoot.

Guess it's getting about time to see what we can do to better draw them into the property. In the past this was a great flyway. Literally not a single dove brought down by anybody this year!

My buddy just sent this picture. 2 weeks ago, not a bird in sight. Robertson County this morning.

Haskell county and over all driving there from DFW via 380 this weekend, saw a lot less birds vs the opener.

Absolutely nothing here in North Texas. Been out every couple of days around Royse City and Greenville and have seen maybe 10-15 total over the past two weeks. Hopefully they start flying soon

If I added up the birds I've shot in the last three years I would still be short of a limit. Haven't hunted dove much but it's been pretty sparse around here. But I also didn't get to hunt the late season last couple of years. Hoping that changes things.

No birds near Waco. No birds around Sherman. This is the worse season I have ever seen in my 40+ years of hunting. I have always hunted 4 afternoons every week of dove season and shoot 8 - 10 birds every hunt. This year I have killed one bird, and it is the only shot I have fired. I even tried hunting mornings. Not a bird in the sky. Biden probably killed them all with his thousands of wind generators on the wind farms he is funding. Either that, or his thousands of acres of solar panels burned them up as they flew over. He has wrecked everything else.

I saw one dove in the yard today at the feeder, but then about 150 Grackles moved in and the dove left.

We hunted just south of breckenridge this weekend and yea it was slow but I seen A LOT of birds Saturday evening. Big groups of 10+ came in low into the field but we didn’t have near enough people to cover it all. Seemed like the front may have pushed these birds down, they were large birds.
