Bible version, not verse, big guy.

King James as well as NIV.

Well since it's back at the top, I grew up on the NIV, but I'm not too keen on modifications made in recent years to be a bit more woke.

I'm currently preferring the ESV and while I know JG asked for paper, I have also been using the Blue Letter Bible app for the last few years as it allows me to read two versions side-by-side at the same time. I typically have the KJV on the left with my current pick of translations on the right. I often bounce around between translations to see how they compare to the KJV. Easy to look up footnotes and do word searches in an instant too.

Ahhhhh....! Misread it.

But now you know my favorite 'Verse'. wink

Version would be King James...particularly for study.

If I'm not mistaken that is Ecclesiastes 10:2.

They are all transliterations...by the way...and a verse isn't a version. Please re-read the title and answer the question. I'm leaning towards NAS. NIV second. Those are my Protestant answers. Latin from Greek and Hebrew is probably more correct and less mishandled by the early English, etc.

Pass the gravy.

Correct. Posted from memory. Apparently slipping.

NIV for me. I’ve dabbled with different translations.

I had a pastor tell me once, just get one you can read and understand. Doesn’t matter the version, even a children’s bible is better than not reading and understanding.
