Have any of you guys ever used trampoline frames as deer feeder pin? Wonder if you could attach multiple trampoline frames together to be used as the frame and attach hog wire I see free trampolines and trampoline frames often posted on Facebook.

I really don't think it would work, they are designed to make a circle of a certain size. There isn't any play in them to open them up to make it a bigger circle.

Might be an interesting frame for a hog trap.

I have used them on multiple leases - never having any issues. I hear guys talk about big deer not using them or jumping in them. I've never experienced those problems....

I put one around my feeder earlier this year in April to keep cows out. Frame only, no wire around the bottom and secured it with 4 t-posts spaced around it. I had pics of deer in it the first night.

Trampolines are what 15’? I don’t get it. My feeders all throw more corn outside of a 15’ circle than inside of one.
My kids have had three of the things that I had to build. The tubing is bent a certain way and a very tight fit. I don’t think you could put two together and make a bigger circle. If the pieces aren’t at the right angle you can’t get them together.
Even if you could what is the advantage? You still would need hog panels to keep the hogs out. They are easily held in place with some t posts.

Coming from someone who has built a lot of feeder pens and put together 5 or 6 trampolines, I would not. With some help you could bend the pipes as you put it together to increase the circumference but I think it would be a pain. Then bring in the panels and secure them. Better off just driving T-Posts IMO. Be a lot easier than all that.

I've put one trampoline together years ago and it didn't seem to difficult. But adding more than two or more frames together is something that I haven't tried nor heard of.

You could easily bend the tubing to allow 2-3 to be put together, but if you're already having to use panels, T-posts just seem easier to me. Transporting them to the lease is going to be a pain.

sounds like a good "pen" to keep the cows away from tearing up a feeder ... deer and hogs could easily still walk under ... but agree with others that it would be too small if you were to enclose with hog wire around the base.

I agree, if this was done, it would require multiple trampoline frames per feeder pin.
