Well, one kid won 2 hunts and the other went 0-8. Going to be mixed emotions when they get home from school.
One hunt is for choke canyon north management hunt and the other is for the King Ranch through the TYHP.
I’m excited for him but feel terrible for my other child

Reach out to them on the management hunt for possible standby spots. I did that one year when one of sons got drawn for Antlerless/spike at Chap and they told me to bring him along and they would make it work. Both boys shot a big doe and I was even able to bring my dad along to supervise my other son. Doesn’t hurt to ask!
