As I noted in previous post my road washed out 2x once on 8/22 with 3 inches of rain then again on 9/1 with 2 3/4 inches that fell in an hour. I wasn't there on 8/22 so not sure of rate but road was gone.

I was there for 9/1 flash flood and as I said never saw my property under these conditions, Have several deep gullies and have pondered over 10 years what conditions caused them. Well the 9/1 flash flood explained it al!!!

A tremendous amount of water cascades down from properties to the north and inundates my place. my wide dry creek bed was a small river that my dog had fun swimming in.

the water flows through the low area in the center of my place and about 3 feet of water 200 ft across then cascades over 2 water falls and under a road bridge that I now understand why it's there.

Took the tractor out to survey the property just after the rain but that proved to be a mistake. Freed it 2 days later after the ground dried out

Was quite impressed with how that rain impacted my place and I know it was unique as the road never washed out in my limited 10 years of ownership. Sure it's been more extreme in the past
