I've got a couple of 6' tower blinds that are framed out of tube steel. The ply and particle board the blinds are faced with is shot, so I'm going to replace it. I'm curious to know the best way to fasten the ply onto the frame. Self-tappers? Drill holes and use bolts? What are your suggestions?

Thanks!

Not being able to see what you are working with it's hard to say what would work best.
Can you attach new new stuff exactly the way the old stuff was attached?
Can you leave the old stuff on there and attach the new stuff to it?
If you're gonna strip it clean, is the frame light material or heavy. If it's light I wouldn't drill a bunch of holes in it, I'd attach 2x4's to it with u-bolts then attach outer shell.

x2 on the self tappers. The angle iron on mine is so thick I had to drill EVERY hole first & then install self tappers. Kinda a PITA but after 5 years they still held good. The wood is wasted, though!
