Hey everyone, I'm a volunteer hunter Ed instructor here in Alaska and we have special youth hunt drawings for resident and non-resident kids available. These are for several big game species including caribou, moose and sheep. These are once in a lifetime permits from our annual drawings that give the kids an opportunity to hunt during favorable times prior to the general season or in restricted areas. If you are interested in putting youths in for these hunts google the Alaska Department of Fish & Game and search draw hunts. Here is the link: https://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=huntlicense.draw The drawing application starts on November 1st for next years permits. My grandkids have hunted with some of these permits and they are great opportunities for success.
