These popped up in my Hibiscus pot. Have you noticed anything interesting pop up or uncovered because of the rain?

The tallest shroom is 7"

I got some really weird mushrooms I had never seen before. But they didn't even make it a week before dying. When I mowed over them yesterday they put off a real funky smell.

Kinda concerned because my beautiful brown fields are starting to turn a funky shade of green crazy

We just walked the yard and counted about a half dozen varieties. They're all over.

I counted about 100 hogs on my ranch last night. What little rain I got softened the ground enough for some rooting.

You and TXkiller never seem to have a hog shortage no matter how many you kill. Don’t know if that’s a curse or a blessing

I like them. Yummy on the smoker and interesting to watch.

I like how within hours of the rain we suddenly had 4 bazillion mosquitos, after it was 150 degrees for the last 3 months.

I hate them. Their eggs can be dormant for 15 years and hatch after getting wet. Pure evil.

That is an interesting fun fact.

Yep, I posted about this on the landscaping thread this morning. I had a forest of mushrooms in my yard this morning.

My Texas Sage have the most blooms I have ever seen on them. You can hardly see the leaves. It appears they bloomed after the first tiny stint we got because there are also a fair amount of blooms that got knocked off by rain.

Tried looking up what type of shroom that was yesterday to no avail, they have opened up this am so the research to identify starts again.
What is interesting is my other Hibiscus plant container has no shrooms growing around it?

7 1/4 tall, 8" across.

I feel like these are really accurate numbers.

I’m not sure if it’ll work for mushrooms but if you have an iPhone if you take a picture of a plant and swipe up it’ll search what type of plant it is with pretty good accuracy.
