Well I have been tuning my bow all this week after buying it just last weekend. This will be my first year to hunt with a bow. I have already considered doing it all season I am so addicted to just shooting targets so I cant imagine what shooting a deer is going to be like. I used to shoot alot when I was younger but kinda got away from it but man am I ready to go. I am going to the lease this weekend to make sure everything is in order for the end of the month.

I agree. I have been losing my ever loving mind watching the calendar. I will be at the lease this weekend just to refill feeders and watch deer. It helps a little...LOL. The other thing that helps me is to head over to Ken's in Arlington and shoot his video range. Nothing like shooting deer in a nice air conditioned enviroment.....LOL.

It is off of Poly Webb road. Fairly close to green Oaks and I nterstate 20. It is named Arlington Bowhunting World. The number is (817)478-5990. He will be closed this weekend for a funeral. He is a great guy but remember he is very plain spoken and straight forward. Some people take it the wrong way but in truth he has forgotten more about bows then most people know.

Good Luck.

On the video range it is $9 for 30 min. or $13 for an hour. I think the regular range is like $8. I love the video range. It is more then worth the money to me.

Yep, been looking forward to it. I never stop shooting during the year, and started shooting broadheads a couple of weeks ago. Going to the deer leases over the weekend and do a little work.

I enjoy shooting the video system. I also shoot out at Cowtown. WE shoot 3-d all year long. www.cowtownbowmen.com
The 3-d course is great practice.

Like everyone else, "Come on already". I can't get enough of the lease right now. With this cool weather and rain. I try to think of it like, hearing all the thanksgiving commercials it is like the season is half over and x-mas the season will have a couple of weeks left. If your 40 like me I have hopefully 20 to 25 more hunting season left in my life. you waited 8 months for hunting season and now your 3 weeks away. Don't get me wrong my blood is boiling like yours. I try to stop the heart attack waiting for the season. So just sit back and enjoy the rush of the upcoming season. Sorry if I depressed you.
