We have worked on this blind for about 10 days. It was a great project. We would work in phases and we did not try to do this thing whole thing in a weekend. It was easy and inexpensive! Now we need to move it and set it up, should not be too difficult, it is in sections.

That's the perfect hieght!

I built one a couple years ago that was 7' tall, and I wish I hadn't because it takes forever to heat that blind up with a small heater, and by the time it heats up enough to just get comfortable, the sun comes up and shines on the blind and then it's too hot.

No need for all that overhead space when your sitting most all the time in the blind.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

Did you put any slope at all on that roof? I would have given it some slope so the rain water doesn't just sit there on the top.
