Make sure you have them test the charge before they leave. Many trust the factory charge and leave without double checking. The unit may cool and heat, but optimizing the refrigerant can save a ton of cycle time.

Interesting, is your unit not sized correctly due to foam insulation?

That and you need fresh air intake houses don’t “breath” like they used to with spray foam

That sucks. We have an issue with placement of the dryer in the house and being spray foamed. It can’t get enough air to dry properly. On our second dryer in 4 years and this one still takes 2-3 cycles to dry a load

You need a heat pump dryer. They’re ventless.

My money would be on the vent system. You should be able to pull enough make up air through the HVAC fresh air system.

If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?

That was always my thought as well. I have considered putting in an in-line fan on a 45 degree offset to help push/pull the air from the dryer hose. I can’t reroute the hose as the dryer is centrally located in the house and of course below the second story. This was our one design flaw. I may have an option to vent into the garage, but it would require a lot of Sheetrock work. And going under a staircase but would still be a 15+ foot run.

I have never installed, but dryer boost fans are an actual product. The dryers often can't lift a column of wet air two stories and through a high pitched roof unassisted. I am sure one could be found online. Terminating into garage would be my last option.
