Desmond Dlow-55 ballhead never used. I also have a adapter that you use with the bog deathgrip. It's made out of aluminum by a machinist so you can use a ballhead instead of just the saddle. My BOG death grip is at the lease, how/where does the adapter connect? Is the ball head an arca? So any rifle will need an arca plate? I’m new at this.

Yes the ballhead is arca. The arca rails are pretty cheap and easy to add to rifles with handguards. You can even add rails to a traditional stock pretty easily. There are some kits with tbolts for that. Or you can put an arca rail on the bottom of the deathgrip saddle and just use that. I like using the ball head so you don't have to worry about adjusting the legs of tripod to get level. You'll see how the remove the bushing in the tripod once you have it in hand. And this just goes in there and the 3/8 bolt goes up from the bottom and the ballhead screws on to that.
