I have to replace the recoil spring in my Versa Max. After dropping it in the saltwater three times and not opening up the stock, the spring finally rusted in two

My question is if anyone has had any problems with the Wolff Super 90 extra power spring cycling lighter 2 3/4” dove loads in the Versa Max? I kinda feel like that heavier spring might give lighter loads an issue, but I’m not sure. I just wanna make sure before I order.

Thank you

Don't know why I'm having so much trouble with THF lately

I had a post that essentially said the Wolff springs I've used
for rifles and handguns were great, so any shotgun springs
they sell should be just as great

Good Luck

I use Wolff springs when possible.

Pass the gravy.

I've never seen one that wouldn't cycle with a 1-1/8 oz load. Unless you have thousands of 1 oz rounds stored up, you can just pay attention to what shells you buy and you should be good to go.

I don’t know what the stock spring weight is, but is there a reason you want a heavier one?

The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.
