My deer lease and cattle sitting there off of Lower Crabapple Road. Anybody out that way with any information. Stuck here at work and will not be able to get there till tomorrow. Not much on the news other than 200 acres and 0% contained.

Check Texas Storm Chasers on FB, last update there at 7:30 stated 400 acres burned and maybe 10% contained. Gave the general location nnw of town, close to Willow loop.

Brother in law sent a couple pics about 8 o’clock, first pic lot of smoke second pic hardly any smoke, thinking it was under control in second pic, he’s located few miles south

I talked to the owner of the land and all travel he said is going outward (evacuation). They will not let us in at the moment

Lot of wind today and smoke was very high as it was rolling north. Lot of smoke mid afternoon but not as much closer to dark. I am about 20 miles west of it but could see the smoke easily.

Saying 400 acres and 10% contained at 9:30 PM 8/2

This was at 2:12 pm today with high winds. Winds really kicked up around 6 with gusts close to 30mph.

Does anyone have an update on this fire?
