I’ll fish the next 4 Saturdays in August, then I’m done fishing till next spring. Come September, I’ll be dove hunting every weekend, then duck hunting, then snow skiing!! Already bought my season pass for Taos! Back when I fished I’ve had some of my best days fishing in September and October. I’d bass fish up until about thanksgiving if the weather is warm I have ADD, I can only focus on one hobby at a time. If dove season sucks, I might extend crappie season till end of oct!

Poling a flats skiff isn't really a one man show. I do enjoy a long solo wade from time to time, just grinding it out for a big fish.
