Yes, a lot. Sometimes from the bank, sometimes from the dock, sometimes from my boat. The lift drops the boat into the water in 30 seconds so it's like pulling my truck out of the garage. It's easy to go out for a cup of coffee and drop a line in the water. I keep my Crappie rig in the pump house on the dock.

I am out there at daybreak most mornings because it is good thinking time. Sounds funny, but I find that planning/prioritizing my day in this way, really starts me off with a positive attitude for the coming day. It's also a perfect way to shed any remaining stress with an adult beverage at the end of the day.

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.

When it cools off, I'm headed to Galveston. May try Swampdonkey or Karl Weston as our guide

Awesome setup there. I fish out of an Oldtown Topwater PDL. I fish solo a lot and enjoy it, but have some friends who also kayak fish and enjoy fishing with them also.

If I'm going out on the water in boat or traveling very far then I want someone going along.

However, at the house on the pond I really enjoy being alone.

I love fishing alone. Usually listen to podcast or audiobooks while fishing and enjoy both activities at the same time.

I mostly fish with other people these days, but I don’t mind fishing alone.

Forgot my chair, back was killing me, had to lay down in the bottom of my boat to get relief. Love my umbrella.

I’ll fish the next 4 Saturdays in August, then I’m done fishing till next spring. Come September, I’ll be dove hunting every weekend, then duck hunting, then snow skiing!! Already bought my season pass for Taos!

Guy, cool on you still living the free styleI like your style!

In college a few years before your ski adventures, my buddy worked at American Airlines back when he could fly free with and a buddy pass on standby. When we got out of class on Friday's we'd go to DFW airport and just look for flights to a ski destination to try and get on standby. Worked almost every time, fly in, thumb it to mountain, find a bar and try to make a friend to ask to crash at there place or hotel room on the floor. Back pack, jeans with gators, light jacket and coat. Sunday's head back to airport to try to get home. Most times had to sleep in airport and then was able to get back on Mondays. Skied all over US and CAN that way for 2 years. Summers' that buddy's room mate had an all mastercraft and it was cutting water dawn and dusk about 5 days a week.

Now I hunt mostly alone and don't fish much anymore but still have boat covered in the yard.

Back when I fished I’ve had some of my best days fishing in September and October. I’d bass fish up until about thanksgiving if the weather is warm

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Went yesterday morning near Fairfield.
Nobody there except me, some cows and some fatties that thought my black plastic worm was breakfast.
