What would you do if you won the Mega Millions?

Our station bought $60 worth for the estimated 1.02 Billion Jack pot.

$600 million or so cash option.

So what would you do with the money? How would you go about protecting, investing, giving etc?

I know we won't win but it's still kinda fun to think about.

I would make a bunch of trust for my kids and pay off immediate family members debt. I would then find the best non taxable ways to save or invest.

Buy houses for family members and friends in need. Buy us a damn nice lake house (or two) and do WTH we want to for the rest of our lives.

More than likely invest in real estate in different states, you know for outdoor shopping if you will. Donate my time to worthy causes, etc.

Spoil Wifeypoo and myself lavishly and buy Free range finding binos.

I would upgrade my living quarters and have a staff to do everything.

Instead of buying a ranch (too old to work it). I would travel to exotic ranches all over the world hunting, relaxing and fishing. While being waited on hand and foot.

Give my daughter enough money to buy her dream house and never have to work again.

Give a lot away to charities for kids and animals mostly (the defenseless who can't care for themselves)

Pretty much disappear from real life.

I would NOT buy thousands of gallons of water and dried food or build a bomb proof bunker. When it's time, its time.

Hire someone to clean my garage.

Enlarge the farm back to it original holdings of my great grandfather, buy a large ranch in Wy and STX.

Buy 72 Viking yacht to chase bill fish in spring early summer

Buy Hudbone best beer drinking socks money can buy and a Utv with hvac

I’d also take STX on an elk hunt if a life time!!

I'd share it with our kids and family members. Big ranch, new vehicles for the wife and I and mega donations to our favorite charities. I'd get a kick out of making anonymous donations to people in need.

First and foremost, find out how to minimize what the dang government will get, during and after my life time. Next mostly what the rest of ya are saying, pay off existing stuff etc. Do/buy what is necessary to make sure we are self sufficient.

With inflation, a billion next year will be like 10 grand.

I’d buy a large ranch in Texas, a beach house and a lake house. I’d probably invest in a lot of rental properties, and probably build a few storage units, and do a lot of traveling for hunts.

I’d have to buy a lottery ticket to win….

I'd buy TFF and create a forum for largemouth bass recipes.

Drop $25M of it into QYLD and the rest a few picks in the top ten of SPY and DVY, ones that are way down since the recession and have weekly options to sell for additional income to the QYLD dividends.
Spend about 3M total on cars and property.

Start drinking a higher priced beer instead of the cheap sh+t I drink now.
