Accidently popping a wheelie on a tractor was always exciting to me. I can now add accidently sucking up a large rifle primer into a vacuum cleaner to the list.

When that tractor tips is a real butt pucker moment.

The other day i was going down a hill with a 3/4 full water tote on the front forks, i must have accidentally disengaged the 4 wheel drive because it started to freewheel down the hill. had to drop the front end to get it to stop.

I backed a front tire on the mule directly over a .22 blank charge that had fallen on the concrete...unexpected bang at close range to say the least.

Thought I put an automatic trans in park with the door open and stepped out.. got hit and luckily hopped back in and stopped it.

Almost falling off a ladder but catching yourself at the last second.

Being under the clock at a shooting competition.

rattling in bucks, DD bass, sitting back to back in the dark of the moon and calling varmints, my wife feeling friendly, sound of kids being home

Are you saying it actually popped? I didn't think they were that fragile.

In thirty+ years of reloading I had a small pistol primer POP on a Dillon 550. I cannot to this day figure out how that happened. It sounded line a 22LR in my face

What makes me feel alive is the first morning when it's cold and hunting. That deep breath of fog comes pouring out and you know things are about to get exciting.

First cold front of the year. Even if it drops from 80 to 68, you can smell it in the air.

Walking in on a bird dog on point. I like to circle around to front of them and look em in the eye.

I completely agree and have had that experience.

Being shot at.

Picking up someone else’s shotgun and it firing without touching the trigger(browning) safety wasn’t on. Glad I picked it up facing the pasture.
Guy has been kicked off the property, as he should be. He never put the safety on.
Never rest a loaded gun hot and ready!

Haha......'Blast from the Past': I first starting reloading when I was about 17 yrs old (shotgun shells and cartridges for my 30-06), this was about 1971.

I had a single stage RCBS rockchucker and a MEC bolted to a table in our recreational room over in a corner.

Back then.... thick 'shag' carpet was in vogue. I lost a few primers in the carpet one loading session and when our maid started vacuuming there it picked up a couple and set them off. She said she just about wet her pants. I got in pretty good trouble over that one.
