I have bought powder that cheap but can’t remember ever getting primers that price.
Well I did get A little over 6000 a few weeks ago for free as someone turned them in to be disposed of.... I am in the process of doing that now.

Nice price on those Gassguzzler.

Best deal I ever got on reloading gear, by the time the deal was done I had a couple thousand bullets, another reloading press and over 5000 primers for $10. That was an estate sale deal with a couple friends involved, we were all happy about it since we all came out way ahead and had the parts of that lot we wanted.

I bought a big lot of powder, some open, some sealed once. Even had a bunch of sealed steel rectangular IMR cans and some metal cans of black powder. What I wanted was the 2400 in the lot. Took the stuff I could not use to Bowie Trade Days and sold it all in one day. In the end I had many extra dollars in my pocket and 2.5 pounds of free Alliant 2400. This was before the current stupid pricing we have.

I have no idea where those primers came from in the post above. I got them from a person here or at an outdoor sale I'm sure. I know I have never paid that little for primers. 2.5 cents a piece is about as cheap as I've seen. $4 per K is less than half a penny each!

Pass the gravy.

When I started reloading about 45 years ago standard price for 100 primers was a dollar. It remained at that for quite a few years. There were not as many reloaders or high volume shooters in those days as there are now or hoarders. I started squirreling primers and powder away when Clinton was in office and the shortages started.

Kmon, that’s about when I got started. I still have some HS5 and HS6 powder from then. Doubt that I will ever use it.

I got a smoking deal on cci 200s and Varget about a year ago. Sold off the extras to almost break even. Never saw $4/1000 though.

Yeah I think it's a misprint because although no one uses price tags any more (generally), the packaging is too new for it to be a real $4/K sale.

Pass the gravy.
