Great addition to Texas. He will no doubt be elite and attract top tier offensive talent to UT. I wonder how it will all play out with Quinn Ewers. Maybe he will start the next 2 years, play well, and declare for the draft. And then Arch steps in as the starter in his 2nd year.

I’d hold off with the anointing oil and inked in college starter. The kid still has a year of HS left. Lotsa things can happen. Kid has talent but also has built some rep on very inferior competition.
It’ll be interesting if he gets chance to live up to the Manning legacy.

Just because his last name is Manning doesn't mean squat till he shows up on the field and proves he's good. Colleges have the best players from around the country. I do wish him the best I never saw the grandfather play but his two uncles were great.

Congratulations to the Longhorns if it works out. If he has the athletic ability of his grandfather, and the ability to study offensive and defensive schemes like Peyton, and remains healthy, he could be the most exciting qb in a long time.
I’m glad that he will be in the SEC, it’ll give me a good opportunity to watch him play.

Still a lot of time left for the bidding (endorsment) war and isn't there a feud going on with the Aggie and Bama coach. They surely don't want Longhorn to get the better of them, right?

I'd rather see a great QB come from know where with no famous relatives.

Even though he is listed at 6' 4" and weighs 215 which is impressive, he played at Isidore Newman high school which is a only a division III high school.

He is about to find out what it's like playing with the real big boys!

He plays for the equivalent of a 4A Texas high school. Even worse, he plays private ball league. Only the Whorns could get over-the-top excited about him.
