Don't know about all that.
But obesity problems in the US really trace back to the early 1980s. A few years after high fructose corn syrup really ramped up and around the time transgenic wheat hit the market.

I found flour moths in my Jalapeno Fritos yesterday. Pretty sure they left some nanoparticles behind.

Absolutely no doubt that the proliferation of heavily processed foods (as well as fast foods), combined with the increase in sedentary lifestyles, led us to where we are today.
