Looking for a Marlin 1894 in 357 mag. Prefer the cowboy oct barrel but would consider the round barrel carbine.

found a round barrel JM carbine that fits my budget. Gunbroker has them for 1200 to 1800

Scheels has two of them - both older JM's - both nice. $1,400 and $1,600 I think.....both round barrel carbines.

Ouch!!! I gave $550 for my round barrel just 5 years ago. I’ve passed on a few GB deals for the CB model. $1k was my max and they continue to demand north of that.
