Have not been in a theater in I don't know how many years. Just because of the footage, I'm going to have to go see this one on the big screen.

Saw it at the base theater this afternoon and have to admit it was great. Somewhat predictable in parts, and a little too much bravado in other parts, but I'm not disappointed in the least. As far as squeals go, which usually suck, this one did the original right- and paid the correct amount of homage to it as well.

I saw it Sunday. I loved it. I thought it was better than the original.
Loved seeing Val Kilmer again on the big screen. I’m glad they included him. They handled that part perfectly considering his health issues.

Two Very well done. Wife wants to go back and see it next weekend again. Been a while since I’ve been to a movie with “whoops” and applause at the end.

And that’s the 1st time in at least 2 years I’ve been to a theatre This isn’t a wait until it hits Netflix movie. Really needs to be seen in the theater for the full affect.

I agree, it really was that good I thought Especially that last scene…the speakers shook us If you were a fan of the original, it’s worth buying the ticket

I'll probably watch it on TV some day. I really liked the first one. That was then and this is now. After seeing Tom Cruise jumping on a couch in an interview spewing his BS, and again screaming that , "So in so doesn't know anything about psychiatry, but I do" it's kind of hard to un-hear that.
We don't go to theaters anyway. We like the pause button at home.

If you enjoyed the original or plan to watch it on TV years later, do yourself the favor and go see this on the big screen.
You can thank us all if we meet in person, we dont need any online pats on the back.
For those who boycott hollyweird and actually do (instead of being a BINO), carry on, nothing to see here.

I have horrible Tinnitus. I cannot handle theaters anymore. In 36 years of marriage next month, my wife and I have been in one movie theater on the first date. . Neither one of us care fore them. There is a mute button at home for snacks, bathroom, breaks, etc.

Saw it yesterday. It was good, wife thought it was great.
Cheesy but it's supposed to be. As far as sequels go they did about as good a job as they could.

Good movie, saw it Sunday. Very entertaining.
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

I'm guessing they didn't invite Kelly McGills back... That's a negative Ghost Rider, that pattern is full... Dang! Age is a cruel b*tch! With regard to bringing back 'Charlie" the character of Maverick isn't exactly the monogamous type or marriage material. It'd kill the sequel to write in a role for a retired government contractor that specialized in 40 year old Soviet aerospace technology and holds a PhD in physics; Especially one that didn't know the 'inverted flight tanks' on a Mig 28 could sustain a negative 4G dive against an inverted F-14.

The wife and I plan on seeing it next weekend when the theaters are not so crowded. Make sure you see it this weekend then - because next weekend (10th) Jurassic Park comes out and I'm sure it'll be just as crowded.
