Anybody know what it’s selling for these days?
I have located some and the guy said make me an offer and I haven’t bought any in well over ten years.
He also has some sucker rod if you would know what that’s worth also.
Thanks

We built my grandads RV cover (you may have seen it) out of 2 7/8" in 2017, we got it for $35 or $40 a section (30ft)
Of course.... I'm sure the prices have gone up, since 2017 (the good ol days wink )

$2.50 a foot I have heard of lately.

The days of $0.90 a foot are gone for a while, or gone forever.

I was going to offer a dollar a foot and see if he takes it or kicks me off of his property.

Give it a try all he can say is NO. Now the ice is broken and the negotiations begin.

Last year I paid $ .80 a foot for some 2 7/8. In January this year same pipe $2.55 a foot. Pipe is getting hard to find. In need of some 5 1/2" myself.

I see it come and go all the time here and 2.375” is $2.00-$2.25/ft and add $.60 for 2.875”. We pumped a squeeze through a good tested 2.875” work string this morning, and the company man mentioned the cost of the tubing rental was assinine, and to make sure we didn’t part it.

I was unaware that the drill pipe comes in different wall thickness all I had ever seen was the same. Moved a few of our joints and they felt a bit heavier, after cutting a few I noticed some was close to double the wall thickness of the other.

I bought a semi load of 2-3/8 three years ago for $23/joint delivered. I finished my project and sold what I had left over for $60/joint a couple months ago.

It is not drill pipe. Big pet peeve of mine. You would not be moving drill pipe by hand. It is upset tubing.

I didn’t know that, just what I have always heard it called. I also thought it was weird that the male/female ends on this stuff would t thread together.
