How do you break a dog that runs free from digging.
I have been letting the dog run lose with a collar on and when I catch it digging I shock the H out of it. Stops right then and few days latter I will catch it digging again.

If it isn't white it is not a birddog.

Mine do it this time of year. They are hunting for grubs, the dog yard will look like a minefield soon.

Read about a guy that trained his heelers by filling the hole with water and sticking their head in the hole for a few seconds.

I have had success using one of the collars to stop one from barking. I can’t explain why but it does stop the digging.

I knew an old dog trainer that would cut his dog's nails in the quick and he said that worked better than anything. I've never done it. Some dogs are gonna dig no matter what.

Have a 25 foot piece of drainage pipe running under my gravel driveway and the dog is trying to dig it out. I think a critter might be in it. Hive not checked that out.

Couple 12 gauge shells through the pipe should fix the critter issue.

Lay down a webbed fence on the ground. The grass will grow up between the spaces an you can mow the grass.
