Florence for the Duomo, Michelangelo's David and the leather market. Amalfi coast, could spend 3 months in Rome and not see it all. The "David" on display, is a copy. They no longer display originals. (because of the towel heads). I've been to LaVornia.. It was awesome. We rented scooters, and have no idea where we went. But was always treated well. Just remember, those ain't our cops over there. They "will" shoot you... When did they start displaying a copy? https://www.florence-museum.com/michelangelo-david.php
To be determined

Went with three other couples a few years ago. Flew in to Rome and caught a train to Cinque Terre. Spent 3 days there. Then took a train to Milan. Stayed there a couple days. Took a train to Venice and stayed there 2or three days. Then took a train back to Rome and spent a few days in Rome.

Lot of small towns in Italy selling homes for under $1000. It sounded tempting before COVID.
