Went out to feed the ibex. Had to go back in the house to get my big coat. Looked at the weather in Kerrville. 32 degrees. We went to Shreveport this week. Dry as a bone here. Nothing green except for some leaves on the trees that are coming out. Got to around between San Marcos and Austin and the landscape changed. There was green grass and Bluebonnets. That way all the way to Shreveport. Everything green and the ponds were all full. Makes a person sick to see that and then get home to see the desert. Hopefully whatever is causing this turns around otherwise it is going to be really bad this year.

grass is always greener...... If it rains.  I almost can't afford the protein bill anymore.
